Bayt.com launches Employer of Choice Awards
Dubai, March 9, 2014
Bayt.com, the region’s number one job site, has launched its Employer of Choice Awards that will recognise companies for their corporate wellness values as related to employee engagement and employer branding activities.
Entries for the inaugural Bayt.com Employer of Choices Awards for 2014 are now being accepted, a statement said. Companies across the UAE are invited to participate, free of charge until May 10, it added.
Industry-specific ranking lists and awards will also be provided to help companies benchmark and assess themselves within their peer groups.
The awards platform builds on the HR acumen and market insights and research Bayt.com has garnered after a decade and a half serving the region’s employers in finding top talent and analyzing, understanding and leveraging regional HR and recruitment trends.
“Our mission is to empower employers and employees alike with the information and tools they need to build their lifestyles of choice. The launch of the Bayt.com Employer of Choice Awards is testament to our commitment to the region; we are creating a platform that further empowers employers with intelligence feedback that can fuel workplace happiness” said Rabea Ataya, CEO, Bayt.com.
“Winning a Bayt.com Employer of Choice Award reinforces the efforts by the HR community to build a solid employer brand with a happy and engaged workforce which will greatly contribute towards the key success metrics for any organisation.”
Planned as an annual event, the Bayt.com Employer of Choice Awards will enable companies to participate and benefit year after year, using the classified intelligence reports generated as a result of the process as a benchmark to assess and improve their workplace culture and build a stronger employer brand.
All companies participating in the annual awards will be provided with insightful reports that will shed light on their workplace engagement levels, as well as on their employer brand perception.
The intelligence reports are unique and specific to each employer and are produced by surveying the company’s employees anonymously through a fast and easy online poll process as well as by collecting data anonymously from professionals outside the company.
The service is totally unique and holistic as a workplace wellness measurement tool and provides employers with valuable insights and information that they can utilize to build a better workplace and consequently better attract and retain top talent leading to greater productivity and higher success in achieving business objectives.
Every participating company as an added benefit will also receive its own branded company page on Bayt.com on the new Bayt.com Companies platform. With over 15 million professionals registered on Bayt.com, this branded company page will allow employers to communicate and inform talented professionals about their employer brand, showcase their culture and workplace environment, list relevant job opportunities, and monitor how jobseekers perceive their company.
“A recent study carried out by Bayt.com revealed that 76.4 per cent of Mena professionals will always turn to the internet to research a company when considering a job opportunity,” said Suha Mardelli, HR director, Bayt.com.
“This emphasizes the fact that an online presence is essential for employers, and they should especially tailor their online marketing position towards jobseekers as employers of choice in order to attract the best talent.”
Bayt.com will also use the Awards surveys to recognize and promote the employers who have made the greatest strides towards becoming the best workplace by annually ranking the top companies based on final results.
Winners of the pioneering Bayt.com Employer of Choice awards will be invited to attend a prestigious gala ceremony, at which they will have the opportunity to showcase and celebrate their employer brand and key initiatives with other leading members of the regional HR community as well as key media and leading regional business heads and influencers. – TradeArabia News Service
