Etihad Etisalat (Mobily), a leading telecom operator in Saudi Arabia, has collaborated with Dammam-based Saudi Electronic University to launch the second phase of its free training course for application (App) developers.

The training focuses on programming of smart devices running on Android operating system, said Mobily in a statement.

It seeks to target local youth interested in the world of App development, it said.

Mobily completed the first phase of this initiative last week, which focused on the development of IOS operating system, in the city of Jeddah and the Western region.

It was carried out in collaboration with the faculty of computing and information technology at King Abdul Aziz University.

The course concluded with the distribution of certificates among participants, handed over by Mobily and the university’s management, it added. – TradeArabia News Service
