AMA International University Bahrain (AMAIUB) has announced the appointment of its new Board of Directors as well as the approval of a new strategic plan for the University aimed at significantly enhancing its offering and accelerating its development and growth.

 

The University’s Board comprises Hisham Alrayes as Chairman, Ahmed Kamaluddin as Vice Chairman, and Members: Dr Ghufran Ahmed Jassim, Sameer Ishaq Safi, and Salah Sharif.

 

Together the Board and management will work closely in the months ahead to deliver the key pillars of the new strategy that has been adopted with an immediate focus on: 

*Improving Governance and Upscaling the Leadership Team and Faculty in order to enhance professional excellence across the institution;

*Launching of New Academic Programs with focus on technology subject to ministry approvals;

*Addressing Education & Training Quality Authority (BQA) and Higher Education Counsel (HEC) Recommendations and Improving Ratings to further build the University’s position and reputation as a leading regional university;

*Optimizing the University’s image, Infrastructure and Campus through planned upgrades and renovations; and

*Adopting a New brand and Identity supported by effective marketing.
