Luxury resort group One&Only said it is offering guests a highly personalised fitness and wellness experience from Technogym.

Technogym, with its expert combination of state-of-the-art equipment, nutritional advice, workout support and training guidance, has tailored each programme to respond to the individual needs of the One&Only guest, said a statement.

All five One&Only resorts (One&Only Reethi Rah in the Maldives; One&Only Le Saint Géran in Mauritius; One&Only Royal Mirage in Dubai; One&Only Ocean Club in The Bahamas and One&Only Palmilla in Los Cabos, Mexico) feature Technogym equipment.

Each resort is linked through an advanced technology key system ensuring that guests can follow the same programme at whichever Technogym they visit.

In addition to the equipment, the personal trainers at One&Only have access to Technogym’s online Wellness Institute and will be personally trained by Technogym masters in specific Technogym equipment usage. With this exclusive collaboration guests that are already fans of Technogym no longer have to alter their fitness regime when they holiday.
 
Maggie Derblay, One&Only Fitness Director, said, 'All our properties are using the Kinesis technology from Technogym so that every guest knows that, whichever One&Only resort they visit, they will experience the same high standard of equipment and training.

'The key system will apply to each resort, meaning that once the guest has left, they will receive a follow up service and a record of their individual fitness programme will be maintained so that upon returning, the guest can continue their preferred fitness plan. The programme will also be fully integrated with specific spa treatments and nutritional advice.'

Not only will the fitness centres at One&Only resorts benefit from Technogym equipment, but from December this year, the new 8,000 sq ft villa at One&Only Palmilla will have a Technogym-equipped gym including Personal Kinesis, Treadmill, Flexability and Wellness Tools.

One&Only Cape Town, opening in September 2009, will also offer Technogym equipment in the main fitness area as well as in the Imperial and Presidential suites.
