Infertility treatment focus at Dubai summit

Chicago, December 28, 2011

Physicians and embryologists from the Fertility Centers of Illinois (FCI), a leading fertility treatment practice in the US, shared techniques and expertise on infertility treatment advances at a recently held conference in Dubai.

The Dubai Conference & Grows International Program was attended by some of the world's top fertility physicians and health professionals.

In attendance was FCI medical director Dr Angeline Beltsos, FCI embryologist Elissa Pelts, and collaborative physician Dr Craig Niederberger of University of Illinois at Chicago.

The conference was hosted by Dr Michael Fakih with attendees from numerous countries including the UAE, Egypt, Lebanon and Pakistan.

Dr Beltsos, who was chosen a "Top Doctor" by US News & World Report, spoke as a presenting physician on the topic of polycystic ovarian syndrome, a common infertility problem in the Middle East. The cutting-edge information presented provided the framework and educational format to further advance patient care abroad.

"It was an honour to work and collaborate with Dr Michael Fakih," said Dr Beltsos.

"The opportunity to take the Chicago expertise of our IVF labs and clinical work to the international marketplace like Europe, Canada, and UAE has been a tremendous help to couples abroad who need assistance."

With the combined expertise of the FCI and Dr Fakih IVF teams, significant advancements were made with patient cases in which male infertility was a factor.

Fertility Centers of Illinois is poised to help couples all over the globe by providing fertility services that may not be available in their own country, due to limiting legal restrictions. – TradeArabia News Service
