UAE confirms two new virus cases

Dubai, November 30, 2013

The UAE has confirmed two new cases of coronavirus after a 38-year-old Jordanian resident and his pregnant wife were found to be suffering from the respiratory-related ailment.

Authorities said the World Health Organisation has stressed that the virus is not a concern for public health at the moment, and that the current situation does not require a travel ban, screenings at ports or restrictions on trade.
