Kanoo sets up new technical service unit

Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo Group has launched a specialised advisory and technical service provider focusing on enterprise resource planning, customer relations management and e-business.
The new firm, KCS Consulting Services, will be working with public and private companies and government entities to develop innovative and smart business transformations, unlocking their true business potential.
"We have created a team of seasoned experts and dedicated international professionals, based in Bahrain, bearing a distinguished implementation track record in several industries to help develop smart business transformations," said EK Kanoo director and KCS Consulting chairman Waleed Kanoo.
The company provides ERP services throughout the whole project life-cycle, from project planning and initialisation stage to normalisation within the organisation, said a top official.
"An ERP project is not only an IT project," explained KCS managing director Dr Bijan Majidi. "First and foremost, it is a business transformation project," he noted.
"KCS's paradigm is that CRM is a way to conduct business and customer service, not a problem of technology," Dr Majidi stated.
