Manama, December 24, 2013

Adams Offshore, the Bahrain-based subsidiary of the Khalifa A Algosaibi (Saudi) group of companies, has taken delivery of the purpose built dynamically positioned (DPII) dive support vessel, the Adams Nomad.

Delivery was taken from the Thailand shipyard ASIMAR close to Bangkok, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

Adams Offshore is a global subsea and offshore service provider and has operations presently in progress in Mexico, the US, and is planning to deploy the new build in West Africa on long-term work.

The vessel has Bahrain Registry and is the fourth DPII vessel the company presently operates.

Being the smallest of the present subsea fleet, it is intended primarily for shallow water diving and inspection, maintenance and repair, survey and similar offshore activities.

The vessel is also operable in deep waters.-TradeArabia News Service
