Leading telecommunication firm Batelco has sponsored the Arab International Aluminium Conference (Arabal) in Bahrain.

The major event, to be held at the Gulf Hotel from November 25 to 27 is being organised by Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

Arabal is the premium trade event for the Middle East's aluminium industry and is the only conference in the world attended by every primary aluminium manufacturer in the region.

First held in 1983 in Kuwait, Arabal has grown over the past 29 years to become an event of international repute, which brings together leaders from the aluminium industry across the world to take part, speak and exhibit.

Batelco senior manager corporate affairs Osama Alsaad presented the sponsorship agreement to Alba director of administration Abdulrahman Janahi at a meeting held at Batelco's headquarters in Hamala. - TradeArabia News Service
