SAIF Zone presents business opportunities in Portugal

Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone) showcased its role as a trade hub and gave an overview of the business opportunities in the emirate at a road show held in Porto, Portugal recently.
The road show, which was organised by the SAIF Zone with the participation of Sharjah Investment and
Development Authority (Shurooq), provided a chance for investors to know the ongoing business opportunities available in the region and ways to gain connectivity in the regional market.
Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, director of SAIF Zone and Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA), said: “The UAE and Portugal enjoy distinguished historic relations and we hope to make progress in the trade relations between the countries by exploring the exciting investment opportunities.”
Al Mazrouei explained SAIF Zone’s role and the business opportunities in Sharjah. The presentation introduced the facilities of SAIF Zone, the various advantages it possesses and the different licenses provided which will help the investors to start their operations in the region.
“A visit to SAIF Zone and Sharjah would help Portuguese businesses get closer to the many opportunities available here. With its excellent infrastructure and modern facilities, SAIF Zone is the ideal gateway for new business opportunities,” Al Mazrouei noted while inviting Portuguese companies to Sharjah Airport Free Zone.
