Key players line up at RAME 2015

DUBAI, April 19, 2015

A major conference focused on identifying and solving local industry problems took place yesterday in Dubai, UAE.

Held under the patronage of Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, president of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, chairman of Dubai Airports and chairman and chief executive of Emirates Airline and Group, the Region Africa and Middle East (RAME-2015) conference of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) is being held at the Intercontinental - Festival City.

RAME is the regional body within FIATA that came into existence in the year 2000.

The conference’s primary goal is to bring forward regional issues, prepare them for discussion in the Institutes and technical bodies of FIATA and provide solutions for problems in the logistics industry as well as network regionally.

In order to make it special, the host which is the National Association of Freight and Logistics – NAFL has extended invitations to all logistics players and freight forwarders in the Indian subcontinent, with a focus on India and Pakistan. Around 500 delegates from the RAME region, India and Pakistan are expected to attend.

The two-day event scheduled to run till April 20 and will provide opportunities to create lasting business relationships. – TradeArabia News Service
