Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Co (Adnec) is promoting key exhibitions to be held in the region dedicated to unmanned systems and technologies, at the currently ongoing 2015 Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI), in London, UK.

DSEI, a global leading integrated event for the display of aerospace, land, maritime and security capabilities, is being held at the Adnec-owned ExCeL London, and will conclude on September 18.

Adnec seeks to promote the Abu Dhabi Aviation and Aerospace Week (ADAAW) and the second Unmanned System Exhibition (UMEX), the only exhibition of its kind in the region dedicated to unmanned systems and technologies used in air, land and marine operations and the inaugural edition of Simulation Exhibition and Conference held under the umbrella of UMEX, said a statement from the company.

Set to run from March 6 to 12, 2016, the upcoming edition of the biennial ADAAW will include the second Unmanned System Exhibition (UMEX), first Simulation Exhibition and Conference, third Global Aerospace Summit, and fourth edition of the Abu Dhabi Air Expo, as well as the first edition of the Middle East Aviation Career Exhibition & Conference and the eighth Red Bull Air Race.

Organised by Adnec, UMEX 2016, which includes the first Simulation Exhibition and Conference under its umbrella, is expected to draw the participation of more than 100 local and global defence system manufacturers, specialised in unmanned systems and technologies used in air, land and marine operations. The event will be attended by high profile government delegations, and civil and military organisations.

Adnec offers 133,000 sq m of inter-connected floor space to match the expectations of a wide variety of events and exhibitions. Equipped with modern facilities and built to international standards, the venue attracted 1.6 million visitors across 327 events in 2014.
