Alba boosts trade ties with Bahrain businesses

Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) said that its official delegation recently visited local companies including Taha International Corporation, Bahrain Recycling Plant (BRP) and Crown Industries, to develop business relations.

These visits were aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction, strengthening business ties as well as exchanging knowledge in various fields while also providing Alba with cost-effective and eco-friendly recycling solutions for various materials ranging from aluminium dross to plastic and woods, said a statement from the company.

The delegation comprised Alba’s chief financial officer, Ali Al Baqali; along with senior manager casthouse, A Rasool Ahmed; manager procurement and warehousing, Mustafa A Rahman; and trainee casthouse’s superintendent – metal management, Mahmood Hassan.

Commenting on the visits, Al Baqali said: “Our company is keen to network with its local customers and service providers on periodic basis to seek areas of mutual co-operation.”

“Such visits provide us not only with hands-on experience to better understand our customers’ requirements but also the opportunity to strengthen our ties with them,” he added.

Alba sells approximately 50 per cent of its production to the local downstream industries, it stated.-TradeArabia News Service
