Abu Dhabi launches $142m hub for tech startups
ABU DHABI, March 24, 2019
The Abu Dhabi Government tomorrow launches a brand new know-how hub, dubbed as 'Hub 71', at a value of Dh520 million ($142 million), to supply monetary incentives to tech startups, reported state news agency Wam.
Launched under the aegis of Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, and chairman of the Executive Committee, the 'Hub 71' taps into the government’s Ghadan 21 Dh50 billion stimulus programme, further underpinning the emirate's status as a vibrant and integrated destination of choice for tech companies and startups in collaboration with key firms specialising in this field from around the world.
