Etisalat launches eCentrex service for businesses

Dubai, September 9, 2007

The UAE's Etisalat today announced that it will soon launch  eCentrex , a new calling service across PCs and desk phones in order to offer a scalable IP based communication solution  for companies with multiple branches across the country.

eCentrex is especially relevant for companies with stand-alone communication solution at present and for companies planning to open branches in other emirates.

The new service will offer free calls between any branch of a company across the UAE and effectively transforms a company’s head office and branches to become one virtual office. Employees from a company will now be able to easily call, conference call and video call between all their branches with the service being hosted by Etisalat.

“The eCentrex service makes distances redundant and will extend the reach of a company to its customers in all emirates,” said Essa Al Haddad, chief marketing officer, Etisalat.

“The solution will greatly benefit companies looking for a versatile and scalable communication solution. The service also holds great potential for increase in productivity with faster  decision making and will help improve customer service levels through h immediate accessibility to company personnel.”

The service offers several value added features – call conferencing, video calling,  and multiple call line appearances – all of which is bundled in three separate packages which offers different features and is priced on a monthly rental basis depending on the number of connections needed by the company.

Etisalat will offer 24/7 monitoring, call capacity management and technical support for the service. Customers will also have the flexibility to  configure access of outgoing call types and view usage patterns and traffic reports through a web based tool. - - TradeArabia News Service
