Batelco, the leading telecom services provider in Bahrain, has introduced a new media channel that will enable its postpaid mobile costumers to buy calling cards to buy calling cards via SMS.

This offer means that Batelco’s postpaid mobile subscribers can now avail of international dialing at very low rates using the 123Call calling cards, a statement said.

To buy the Batelco’s 123Call calling cards from a postpaid mobile, customers send the message ‘123BD3’ to 4554. An automatic reply will confirm that the postpaid account has been charged BD3, which will appear on the next month’s bill.

The reply message will also include your exclusive pin code and further useful information to use the service.

A further benefit of the service is that the postpaid customer can provide the pin code details to family members or friends to allow them to make discounted calls from any phone.

“This is the latest new media channel for Batelco’s customers and delivers great value for money for international dialing,” said Ahmed Al Janahi, Batelco Group general manager media & government relations.

"Furthermore, the new service provides not only convenience by eliminating the need to buy actual calling cards and scratching to reveal the code number, but also ensures a quality voice service using Batelco’s VoIP (voice over Internet protocol),” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
