More companies invest in Xerox print technology

Dubai, August 5, 2014

An increasing number of printers are turning to hi-tech digital printing solutions offered by Xerox Emirates’ because of their ability to offer superior image quality with faster turnarounds and reduced costs, the company said.

All products offered by Xerox are backed up with key digital printing features such as variable data printing permitting the user to print on-demand speeding up the work process. The printer delivers one of the widest ranges of media handling, from a lightweight 55 gsm to a hefty 350 gsm.

Xerox products also offer a professional finish for business cards and glossy brochures with the added benefit of Clear Dry Ink technology to add new dimensions to high value applications, it said.

Companies such as Alpha Printing Press are investing in Xerox print technology because they understand it serves as the underlying platform that caters to different business requirements such as managing the workflow – these range from reducing work/delivery time and providing a range of solutions for customers to manage their work.

Oomman Varkey, director of Alpha Printing Press, was impressed at the speed and smoothness of the installation. “Xerox enabled us to step into full colour digital production only four months after initial investment in mid-production. We understood the business potential and have already achieved in excess of 30 per cent running cost savings through increased production volumes. Those savings were made possible by the application diversity and print production efficiency of the Xerox 1000 Colour Press.”

The Xerox Production Systems Group (PSG) caters to three main production environments - Publishing, transaction printing and enterprise-wide printing through its multiple product categories.

As business grows, extra services can be added to the printers depending on requirements, enabling seamless printing in high-end workflow environments. –TradeArabia News Service
