Du, the UAE's No.2 telecom operator by subscriber numbers, said it has launched a first-of-its-kind new Prepaid Plan – ‘Extra Social’, an addition to the family of social plans.

As per the scheme, prepaid customers get to enjoy flexi minutes, data, and social apps in hassle free monthly bundles with credit valid for life, said a statement from du.

This comes after the successful introduction of its ‘Easy Social’ scheme, it added.

Extra Social offers four all-in-one recurring monthly bundles that are hassle free and give great value! All bundles offer flexible minutes for local and international calls, data, and a generous amount of Social data to access the most popular social apps, said a statement from the company.

Under this scheme, the customer has to select his/her favourite bundle - Small, Medium, Large or Extra Large, - which start at Dh40 and reaching till Dh300 per month. This includes social data, flexible minutes and data according to one's specific lifestyle. Also, any credit added comes with lifetime validity, it added.

Fahad AlHassawi, the chief commercial officer, said: "We constantly strive to understand the evolving needs of our customers and create differentiated product offerings that cater to each and every segment in the market."

According to him, ‘Extra Social’ comes with social data to access Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, LinkedIn, BBM, Instagram and Snapchat.
