Batelco backs inaugural Routes MEA

Batelco, a top telecom provider in Bahrain, has announced its support for the upcoming inaugural Routes Middle East & Africa in the kingdom, which will focus on route development opportunities across the region.

The event hosted by Bahrain Airport Company taking place at the Gulf Hotel from May 31 to June 2.


Organised by UK-based UBM EMEA, Routes Middle East & Africa is set to attract over 300 participants from the Middle East and Africa

Representatives from 50 airlines, 70 airports and 10 tourism authorities are also expected to attend. As part of the comprehensive agenda, industry thought leaders will discuss industry issues and the future of aviation within the region during the Routes Middle East & Africa Strategy Summit which will open the event on May 31.

The interactive conference promises to present delegates with a unique opportunity to hear from the most senior aviation specialists from the Middle East and Africa.

Batelco Enterprise Division general manager Adel Al Daylami said: “Batelco is a close partner to the aviation sector in Bahrain and plays a very important role in the provision of fixed and mobile infrastructure, Broadband and gateway-services, plus more.”
