Etisalat, UAE's leading telecom operator, has announced a special summer offer whereby customers will get 2 GB of data for the same price as the 1 GB weekly roaming package of Dh200 (54.43).

The offer is open to all prepaid, postpaid as well as business customers, and is valid till August 31, a statement from the company said.

Customers can subscribe to the new double data promotion by dialling *177# from the UAE or abroad, sending an SMS ‘WEEK1GB’ to 1010, or visiting any of their nearest Etisalat Business Centers or outlets.

Alternatively, customers can subscribe to the promotion via Etisalat's free mobile app Etisalat UAE. They can repurchase the data roaming pack upon consumption or expiry of the old pack.

Etisalat's data roaming network comprises 249 operators in 106 countries. Upon arriving at their destination, customers will be notified about its available partners via SMS.

The company also has a range of other customizable services, including out-of-bundle caps and SMS notifications in order to help customers keep control of their usage and charges. - TradeArabia News Service
