Paladion to showcase new security model at Dubai event

DUBAI, October 25, 2015

Paladion, a specialised information risk-management provider, will participate and showcase its next generation security model, CyberActive SOC, at the Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit, taking place next month, in Dubai, UAE.

The event will take place on November 2 and 3, at the Raffles Hotel.

The Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit 2015 is focused on managing risk and delivering security in the digital age. It will provide a platform to deliver best practices and share strategies to provide enterprises in Middle East cost-effective security and risk programs to support digital business and drive enterprise success.

Paladion, a part of the security landscape in the region for many years, is also the platinum sponsor for the summit, said a statement from the company.

The company is a pioneer in the managed security services and has carved out a name for itself in the Middle East for its security operations center (SOC) services, which are supported by worldwide network of SOC centres located across the world, it said.

As a speaker at the summit, Kaustubh Medhe, associate vice president for managed security services at Paladion, will make a presentation on Paladion’s CyberActive SOC model, it added.

He will explain how organisations in the Middle East, can overcome their limitations by augmenting their SOC with the right set of analytics and automation techniques designed to improve detection, gain better visibility, reduce the time to respond and remediate security incidents - thus move up the maturity curve.

Medhe added: “Keeping pace with the advancement in cyber-attacks and security breaches requires waging a war on multiple fronts. Traditional models of implementing a SIEM solution, staffing the SOC with an eight member team is proving incapable of detecting and preventing a targeted cyber-attack. To respond to this, we have developed a next generation security model, CyberActive SOC that will enable enterprises in the region to overcome such limitations and secure their dynamic business environments.”

Firosh Ummer, managing director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (Emea) at Paladion, said: “Riding on the success at last year’s summit in Dubai, we are sure that we will have a successful event that will provide us with an enriched experience, invaluable networking with customers, industry peers and business partners.”

“We endeavor to continuously stay ahead of the learning curve and provide enterprises in the region with an effective solution that enhances their efforts to encounter risks and secure their business environment,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
