The H Dubai has partnered with Kanyeyachukwu Tagbo Okeke, a young artist who defies the odds of autism, to showcase a series of his captivating artworks at the hotel.

The exhibition titled “Spectrum Splendor: A Young Artist's Journey,” is featuring 20 of the Nigerian artist's exceptional pieces from April 1-5, and aims to inspire and promote inclusion through art.

The expo is a part of The H Dubai’s commitment to inclusivity, wherein the hotel has provided specialised training to staff sensitised to the diverse needs of guests, especially ensuring that individuals on the autism spectrum feel welcomed and supported during their stay.

Kanyeyachukwu Tagbo Okeke is an award-winning artist making waves in Nigeria and beyond. His art work represents his unique personality with his spectacular pieces having found their way to galleries and museums across the US, Europe, Nigeria, and other parts of Africa.

Kanye's expressive artworks have been featured in exhibitions worldwide, including solo booth showcases at the Art Vancouver International Art Fair and the Kente Royal Gallery in New York.

His has won numerous accolades, including the Atims Magazine World Top 60 Art Masters Award and the Artist of the Year Award at the African Contemporary Art Festival.

Sophie Blondel, General Manager of The H Dubai, said: “At The H Dubai, we believe in creating a space that champions diversity, promotes artistic expression, and advocates for inclusion.

“Kanye’s remarkable journey as a young artist living with autism aligns perfectly with our vision. By showcasing his works, we aim to spark meaningful conversations about autism, break down stereotypes, and foster a culture of inclusivity in our community."

A percentage of proceeds from all sales of the artwork will be donated to the Dubai Autism Centre. In addition to the art exhibition, The H Dubai will host a special art workshop on April 5, led by Kanye, where he will personally guide and inspire children from the Dubai Autism Center to create their own beautiful art pieces, fostering a further sense of creativity and inclusion.

Kanye said: “I am honoured to have my artwork showcased at The H Dubai. Art has been my voice, allowing me to express myself in ways I couldn't otherwise. I hope my journey inspires others and helps raise awareness about autism.” – TradeArabia News Service
