London, March 26, 2014

Endemol, a leading independent production company, has won new entertainment deals in the Middle East with CBC.

There will also be a 24-hour Pan-Arab Star Academy channel capturing all the live action and 105 daily access shows which will bring viewers the day’s highlights.
The last series was the number one show in Egypt during its four-month run, airing with an average share of audience of 36 per cent and had more than 2.5 million likes on Facebook.
Lara Haddad, managing director of Endemol Middle East, said: “Endemol continues to build on its track record of bringing entertainment blockbusters to broadcasters in the Middle East.
