T & M Eventscom has been appointed as the conference organiser for the 27th General Arab Insurance Federation (GAIF) Conference to be held in Bahrain.

The theme of the conference will be “Towards a more Integrated Arab Insurance Market'.

The event is taking place under the patronage of Prime Minister Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa from February 26 to 28.

An official signing ceremony took place between the officials of GAIF and T & M Eeventscom for organising the biennial event which is expected to draw over 1,000 delegates across the Arab insurance industry, in addition to international insurance professionals.

Sameer Al Wazzan, chairman of the GAIF steering committee, highlighted the importance of maintaining the utmost standards of professionalism, and the smooth execution of such a key regional event.

Sameer Al Wazzan said: 'Bahrain has the pleasure of hosting, once again, a conference which is integral to the region's insurance industry as a whole.

“As a deep-rooted financial hub for the Middle East, Bahrain has increasingly become the centrifugal force behind the region's insurance industry innovations.

'We have every confidence that T & M Eventscom, with their international level of expertise and performance profile, combined with their unique local resource aspect and intrinsic understanding of the culture, will contribute to producing a highly successful Conference.'

T & M Eventscom managing director Zahraa Taher re-affirmed Al Wazzan's comment.  She said:

'We are equally honoured that GAIF has chosen Bahrain for the second time to host their upcoming Conference.
