Ruby Tuesday restaurant is offering its customers the graded Certified Angus Beef (CAB) brand.
Located at Al Andalus street in Jeddah, the restaurant
has been serving fine grade beef in their steaks and their burgers since its launch last November, a Ruby Tuesday representative said.
'Certified Angus Beef products are evaluated under the most rigid standards for superior color, texture and marbling. In fact, less than 8 per cent of beef meets the brand’s strict quality specifications.'
He said the secret to the brand’s incredible taste was marbling, the small white flecks found inside the lean meat.
CAB product specifications demand a higher degree of marbling, which increases beef juiciness and flavour. This higher degree of marbling does not increase cholesterol and only slightly increases saturated fat, he added.
Sheikh Mohammed Balubaid, managing director of Marssana International Trading Company said Ruby Tuesday would be a successful restaurant in Saudi Arabia because of its “consumer first” attitude and dedication to using only premium ingredients in their dishes.
