PR firm marks 7th anniversary

Eventscom- Bahrain, a leading public relations and event management consultancy, recently celebrated the success of the company’s 2008 projects in an annual celebration.
The event was held at Al Khayma, Ritz Carlton Bahrain, Hotel and Spa.
Around 100 people—including staff, volunteers, supporters and suppliers—were in attendance of the Eventscom family fun night, which included a costume competition, dinner, dancing, karaoke and a raffle.
The evening’s highlights also included a slide show themed: "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit..!”
At a surprise awards ceremony that followed, the staff were presented with humourous superlatives such as “Mr Show Me The Money” and “Miss Energizer Bunny”, in recognition for their achievements and contributions to the company.
“This has by far been one of the most successful years for Eventscom—and also the most enjoyable staff party to date,” said Zahraa Taher, Eventscom CEO.
“I am proud of every member of staff who has committed so much time, dedication and effort to the company, but also, in many cases, to Bahrain’s stature as a regional and international Mice destination,” she added.
“Moreover, when Eventscom was founded seven years ago, I had a vision that it would excel because of, not in spite of, its strong local roots and lack of an international affiliate.”
“Our consistent performance has made me proud of what a local company can achieve, and I hope it provides an inspiration to other local entrepreneurs,” Taher said.
