Union National Bank (UNB), one of UAE’s leading banks, has unveiled the first Dh1 million ($272,272) winner in the recently revamped Al Awwal quarterly draw held a few days ago.

Noura Abdulla Farsi, a UAE national, was the lucky winner of Dh1 million who was recently felicitated by the branch manager at a ceremony at the UNB Head Office in Abu Dhabi.

"Winning this money is a great blessing from God. I was so happy to receive this prize and could not believe the news at first. I didn’t sleep for two days and didn’t believe until I received the sms and a call from the branch manger to confirm, said an elated Farsi.

"With this money I will be able to realize the biggest dream of my life which has been to have my own house or piece of land. I will now be able to buy a small house or plot of land,” Noura remarked.
