Union Co-operative Society (UCS), a Dubia-based hypermarket chain, has signed an agreement with Dubai World Security for provision of security to its new enterprise, the Etihad Mall.

Mahmood Amin, chief executive officer of Dubai World Security, and Ibrahim Al Bahar, deputy general manager of UCS, signed the contract in the presence of Mohammed Berregad, administration affairs manager-UCS at a ceremony held in Dubai.

The contract marks an important step for the security service provider in its drive to enhance its portfolio with reputed clients like UCS. It is also an important milestone for UCS, which is expanding their mall business.

Mahmood Amin said, 'For our strategic plans of expansion, this contract means a big step and a major responsibility. It calls for maximum preparedness and proactiveness to secure, safeguard and protect the clientele and tenants of Etihad Mall.'
