Summit to focus on key branding issues
Dubai, November 2, 2009
Key issues concerning the global branding community will be discussed at the Brand Summit 2009, to be held in Dubai from November 8.
IIR Middle East, a regional leader in facilitating skill development through professional conferences, will organise the summit from November 8-12 at the Al Murooj Rotana Hotel, in association with Dubai Media City. “Staying Alive” is the slogan for this year’s summit.
Now in its seventh year and with 156 industry participants last year, the annual event is the most powerful platform for the industry to reveal new insights, discuss collective challenges, and clarify standards across the global branding community, said a statement.
All of these topics will be covered in depth by carefully selected panels consisting of representatives from some of the world’s most respected multi-national companies, said Kosta Petrov, conference director for IIR Middle East.
“There is so much purchasing power in the GCC market, we want to create an environment for companies to grow their brands on the regional and international stage,” he said. “Although GCC companies have made significant strides in the past several years, the market as a whole has yet to reach its full potential. This event is a great chance for both national and international companies to learn from each other, developing strategies to increase local penetration and expand into global markets.”
In addition to executive-led discussions, this year’s Brand Summit will also organise one-on-one meetings between branding experts, and will offer half-day intensive clinics conducted by renowned industry leaders. – TradeArabia News Service
