King Hamad leads Eid prayers

His Majesty King Hamad yesterday performed Eid Al Fitr prayers at Sakhir Palace Mosque.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, His Majesty's sons, senior members of the Ruling Family, Shura Council chairman, parliament chairman, ministers, senior BDF officers, Interior Ministry and the National Guard officials also performed the prayers.

The imam delivered a sermon praying for Allah Almighty to preserve Bahrain and its faithful people and bless them with all the progress they aspire to achieve.

His Majesty exchanged Eid greetings with worshippers, who congratulated him, wishing him success to achieve all that is good for Bahrain and its people as well as Arab and Islamic nations.

They also took pride in the wise leadership of His Majesty to bolster the status of Bahrain and promote its role in regional, Arab and international arenas.

The King also exchanged Eid greetings with Lebanese President Michel Suleiman, UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Lebanese Premier Saad Al Hariri, Hamas chief Khalid Mishaal and Iraq's Supreme Islamic Council head Ammar Abdulaziz Al Hakim.-TradeArabia News Service
