Bustan Al-Wataniya in deal to sell distribution rights of SSFL

KUWAIT, January 26, 2015

Bustan Al-Wataniya, a leading distributor of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) in Kuwait and a subsidiary of Towell International Holding, has signing a  deal that stipulates selling the distribution rights of a range of food products owned by Saudi Snack Foods Co (SSFL) to United Beverage Company.

The concessionaire for manufacturing and refilling products of Pepsi-Cola International, including Lays potato chips and other well-established brands such as: Cheetos, Doritos, Quavers, Twistos, Sunbites, Tasali, and Quaker, said a statement.

The agreement has been officiated during a ceremony held in JW Marriott Hotel, in Kuwait, in the presence of the general manager of United Beverage Company, Faisal Al-Eidan; along with Nadim Nakfoor and Naoufel Jellal, the representatives of the Saudi Snack Foods Co.
    
Mohammed T Bin Sultan, vice chairman of Bustan Al-Wataniya, said: “We are proud of this prosperous agreement, it was done seamlessly with the consent of all parties involved. The agreement serves the interest of all parties concerned, as it was mutually agreed upon.” - TradeArabia News Service
