Current Indian External Affairs Ministry joint secretary Alok Kumar Sinha has been appointed as the new Indian Ambassador to Bahrain, a report said.

He is expected to arrive in Bahrain by the end of May, according to the ministry, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.
