A new award for Bahrain's best restaurant was announced yesterday (April 8) by Industry and Commerce Minister Zayed Al Zayani at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Residence and Spa.

Winners of the "best restaurant award", launched in co-operation with a regional lifestyle magazine, will be selected by representatives from the ministry along with other experts specialising in catering and tourism, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

Also present at yesterday's launch was Industry and Commerce Ministry Assistant Under-Secretary for Tourism Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa. - TradeArabia News Service
