IEEE Communications Society is affiliated partner of MEET ICT

Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH) has announced that IEEE Communications Society– (Bahrain Chapter) will be an affiliated partner of “MEET ICT & BITEX 2020”, the leading ICT event in Bahrain.
Held under the patronage of Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, the event will take place from March 24 to 26, 2020 at the Gulf Convention Centre.
BTECH stressed the importance of this partnership with IEEE Communications Society– (Bahrain Chapter) in enriching the content of the MEET ICT & BITEX 2020”, especially that IEEE Communications Society– (Bahrain Chapter) is the world's largest technical organisation for the advancement of technology. IEEE Communications Society– (Bahrain Chapter) has chapters in more than 140 countries around the world with tens of thousands of members.
 “BTECH” welcomed the contributions of IEEE Communications Society– (Bahrain Chapter) to the event as they are an association that provides essential reference for many technical topics under communications and networking technology.
The tenth edition of the event is jointly organised by BTECH and WorkSmart for events management under the theme “Leading the Way to a Digital Economy through AI”.
The MEET ICT Conference will host numerous activities catered towards developing businesses and ICT professionals which includes seminars, workshops, a virtual reality and game center, demo space, and a special robot and media corner.
During the conference, specialised workshops and panel discussions will be organised, in addition to meetings and networking sessions for emerging companies as well as technical and educational institutions. Meanwhile, the exhibition will include pavilions for different participating countries, and a display area for entrepreneurs and student projects in the ICT field.
