A-Map to bolster re-export market

Dubai, April 16, 2012

A-Map, one of the UAE’s leading automotive part suppliers, is aiming to double its size by 2013 through augmenting its re-export expertise with increasing numbers of fleet-specific and corporate contracts across key markets.

The company is eyeing this year’s Automechanika, the region’s leading trade exhibition for the automotive aftermarket industry, to build on its growth, it said in a statement.

Automechanika is running from May 22 to 24 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre.

“Automechanika is an unmatched catalyst for business development and networking that benefits both individual companies such as A-Map and the UAE’s bustling and continually evolving automotive sector,” said Asad Badami, managing director of A-Map.

“We are proud of what we have achieved over the past few years and are now ready to dramatically expand our business offering, proving to a wider audience than ever before that when it comes to speed, quality and reliability, we are up there with the very best.”

Last year’s Automechanika was a record-breaker, with 17,000 trade visitors from 130 countries wowed by products or services showcased by over 1,100 exhibiting companies and A-Map, as one of the event’s main sponsors, will be looking to feature prominently as both exhibitor and deal-maker.

Headquartered in Dubai, A-Map has expanded by 300 per cent since 2009 and established operations in Africa, Asia, and North America as a go-to supplier and re-exporter of world-class stock such as Solite batteries, Asimco brake pads, Fenix tyres, and RBI rubber products, the statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
