Mercedes-Benz to showcase 24 models at Dubai show

DUBAI, November 13, 2017

German automaker Mercedes-Benz will display a total of 24 ground-breaking models and concepts with a wide array of regional premieres at Dubai International Motor Show opening tomorrow (November 14) in Dubai, UAE.

The largest automotive exhibition in the Middle East will run until November 18 at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

Leading the charge is the new Mercedes-AMG Project ONE, as it brings F1 hybrid technology to the road. The Mercedes-AMG GT Concept car will demonstrate the power and performance of electric vehicles and the new Mercedes-Maybach S 650, the brand’s pinnacle of luxury, will take comfort, space and exclusivity to new heights, a statement said.

Lennart Mueller-Teut, head of Marketing & Communications, Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East, said: “The Dubai International Motor Show is a key platform to unveil and exhibit a growing line-up of models and concepts that are rethinking mobility, while pushing the limits of performance. We very much look forward to showcasing our current offerings and what we have in the pipeline to the region.”

Mercedes-AMG Project ONE

The Mercedes-AMG Project ONE will introduce state-of-the-art automotive technologies to the Middle East – the two-seat super sports car defines the future of performance by using the very latest and most efficient fully-fledged Formula 1 hybrid technology. The Mercedes-AMG Project ONE is set to bring the racetrack to the road, with over 1,000 hp and top speeds beyond 350 km/h.

Also celebrating its regional debut is a groundbreaking reinterpretation of the AMG GT family: the four-seat Mercedes-AMG GT Concept. By enhancing the renowned sportiness of the AMG GT family with added space and functionality, the concept car gives a sneak preview of the sensual exterior design and four-seat interior that is coming to series production.

Mercedes-Maybach S 650

The new Mercedes-Maybach S 650 is ideal for passengers seeking the highest levels of comfort, luxury and exclusivity. Reaffirming its position as the ultimate model for individuality, the luxury sub-brand combines the luxury of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class with the space and exclusivity of a Maybach.

Mercedes-Benz will also be showcasing the new Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster and Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S 4MATIC during the show, enabling Middle East customers a first-hand view of these latest models. – TradeArabia News Service
