Michelin, a leading tyre technology company, has announced that its operations in the Africa, India and Middle East region will revise its tyre prices to address an increase in the cost of raw materials, such as natural rubber, and other market factors.

The prices of tyres will increase by 2 per cent across the commercial light truck, truck and bus segments, and by 2.5 per cent in passenger car segment (with up to 4 per cent increase in SUV segment), said a statement from the company.

This increase will be effective from September and is applicable to all Michelin Group brands, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
