Drake & Scull wins key Abu Dhabi project contract

DUBAI, December 9, 2015

UAE-based contractor Drake & Scull Engineering (DSE) said it has been awarded a Dh245-million ($67 million) contract to deliver MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) works for a project in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Under the terms of the agreement, DSE will render engineering, detailing, procurement, testing, commissioning, and handover services for the project’s MEP, fire protection and natural gas systems.

With this win, the Drake & Scull's total value of project award wins for 2015 has surged to Dh2.53 billion ($688 million).

Ahmad Al Naser, the managing director of DSE, said: "We are delighted to continue our trend of securing milestone projects which has helped us achieve Dh2.53 billion ($688 million) in project awards across the UAE, Kuwait and Oman in 2015. The UAE remains our primary market across our businesses and we are pleased that DSE continues to be the primary driver of Drake & Scull’s growth."
