Oil minister leads Bahrain presence at Adipec

ABU DHABI, November 15, 2017

Bahrain’s Oil Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa is leading the Bahraini delegation at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (Adipec) this week.

Adipec is the premier global meeting point for the oil and gas industry, bringing together the most senior decision makers from government, national oil companies, and international oil companies, to discuss the most pressing issues facing their business.

Shaikh Mohammed took part in a series of ministerial panel discussions during the four-day event. He is also expected to hold private talks with international counterparts and with global business partners, a statement said.

Adipec is long-established as an essential gathering for the oil and gas industry’s most influential decision makers, many of whom share their knowledge in the strategic and VIP conference programmes. The 2017 edition, which opened on Nov 13 and runs till Nov 16, is expected to attract more than 100,000 trade visitors and more than 10,000 conference delegates, with in excess of 2,200 exhibiting companies. There are more than 185 separate conference sessions across VIP, strategic and technical programmes.

Bahrain-based companies are making good use of the commercial side of Adipec. Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) is the nation’s lead exhibitor, while other significant businesses from the kingdom include the Nass Corporation, which is promoting a wide range of services in the unique, waterfront offshore and marine area. – TradeArabia News Service
