Faconnable appoints new chairman & CEO

Beirut, June 8, 2010

Faconnable, the French high-end retailer specializing in tailored men's and women's clothing, has appointed Lance Isham as chairman and CEO of Faconnable Group.

“Lance Isham’s role and contribution as executive chairman of Faconnable Group has been instrumental to M1 Fashion in order to identify and strategize the future of the brand after our acquisition in 2007,” said Maher Mikati, CEO of M1 Fashion and brand manager of Faconnable.

Isham’s role was also helpful in developing the vision of Faconnable as a primary player in the luxury life style niche, Mikati added.

“This appointment further underlines our commitment in strengthening the brand and assuring the best leadership and expansion for the future,” he said.

After retiring from Polo Ralph Lauren, where he was the vice chairman of the board of directors, Lance Isham served on an advisory board for the Faconnable brand, then owned by Nordstrom’s, the American specialty department store.

Lance’s appointment as executive chairman of Faconnable group has started a new era of the Faconnable’s brand re-launch, a statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
