Samsonite launches new lightweight range

Dubai, December 19, 2012

Samsonite Group, a global leader in travel solutions, has unveiled its new lightweight suitcase range featuring its Advanced Hybrid Technology (AHT).

The new Litesphere Collection is not only the lightest-ever AHT range by far, it also has the most modern design, with its sleek lines and ground breaking hardware, a statement said.

With the cabin size upright 55 weighing less than 2kg, less than a bottle of drinking water, Litesphere complements the hectic and highly-demanding lifestyle of the business globetrotter, it added.

Jai Krishnan, vice president - Middle East, East Africa & SAARC at Samsonite, said: “The new Samsonite Litesphere collection is part of our strategy to offer the most convenient business travel solutions and is one of the lightest AHT luggage of its kind.

“With its perfect need-based functionality, Samsonite has once again reinforced its reputation to creating the most innovative luggage solutions in the market, making it the brand of choice for today’s discerning business travellers.”

With its Pointshock technology – dot printing abrasion resistant shields give abrasion protection. Adding further distinction to the Litesphere Collection, each suitcase will have a one-of-a-kind serial number laser engraved on the wheel handle along with the Litesphere logo.

Litesphere features PORON XRD laptop protection which creates a unique protective shield and absorbs the most intense forces to keep the laptop safe, according to the statement.

The Litesphere Collection features an integrated combination lock accepted by Transportation Security Administration (TSA) which delivers additional security.

Additional practical features include butterfly cross straps to allow for wrinkle-free packing and a spinner rolling tote. The Litesphere range comes in a range of sophisticated colours including Black, Silver and Earth Brown. – TradeArabia News Service
