Pearl-Qatar, Blue Salon ink retail shops deal

The Pearl-Qatar, a world-class mixed-use development, has signed an agreement with United Development Company (UDC) and Blue Salon Company towards opening a series of retail outlets of leading global brands at the island.

The agreement was signed today (January 26) by the acting chief executive officer of UDC Badr Al Meer, and the vice chairman of Blue Salon Nabil Abu Issa at The Pearl-Qatar.

Under the terms of the agreement, Blue Salon will facilitate the opening of retail outlets of leading brands such as –Blue Salon Kids, Nespresso, Ethan Allen, Samsung, Mimisol, Toys 4 me, Nespresso, Pressto, Gina, Kartell, and Oasis of Soul.

With this, The Pearl-Qatar will be the first of its kind location where two high-end brands will be simultaneously operating namely, "Ethan Allen" and "Nespresso" in Qatar.

Al Meer said: “The Pearl-Qatar has succeeded in attracting some of the world’s leading brands by virtue of special environment at the iconic Island, which combines fun shopping on the waterfront, the presence of high-end marinas, and also the elegant design of the shops that have been inspired by Italian, Spanish and Moroccan architecture.”
