Ajman's $218m mall complex work on track

Work is progressing well at the Grand Mall Complex being developed by Ajman Real Estate Institution (Aqaar) in the northern emirate at an investment of Dh800 million ($218 million).

On completion, it will home to 409 apartments, 163 commercial offices and 90 shops, as well as a hospital, restaurants and a multi-level movie theatre.

The complex, which is one of Aqaar’s key projects, was inspected by HH Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, yesterday (March 10).

Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, chairman of the Municipality and Planning Department and chairman of the Aqaar, and other officials later briefed the ruler on the project’s investment objectives as well as its dealings with customers wishing to buy or lease apartments.

During his visit, Sheikh Humaid was accompanied by Ghalib Jaber, the executive director of the Institution and member of its board of directors, Tariq bin Gheleita, the director of the Ruler’s Office, and Yousef Mohammed Al Nuaimi, the director-general of Protocols and Hospitality, and other officials.
