The General Aviation in the Middle East (Game) conference, scheduled to be held from April 6 to 7, has been postponed to next year, said the event organisers.

UK and Dubai-based MIU Events said the Game has been rescheduled for 2010 'when the global economy will start improving.'

This year, with just three weeks to go, delegate registrations were insufficient to ensure the event would produce the debate and discussion that makes this conference such a useful tool for those in the industry, the organisers added.

MIU events said it has several other aviation meetings lined up this year including Financing Aviation in the Middle East 2009 (Fame) in Abu Dhabi from May 4 to 5; Very Light Jets Europe in Barcelona from September 24 to 25 and Very Light Jets in Latin America and the Caribbean, from November 26 to 27.-TradeArabia News Service
