Wafi takes over Park Hotel management
Dubai, July 5, 2010
The Wafi Group, Dubai-based diversified business conglomerate, said it has taken over the management of the Somerset Residences in Jadaf, and will re-brand the property as Park Hotel Apartments.
Park Hotel Apartments is the second property managed by the Wafi Group, and is located adjacent to their existing hotel, the Arabian Park Hotel.
“The property is ideal for the mid- to high-end market, as is positioned as deluxe fully-serviced apartments,” said Mark Lee, general manager of Arabian Park Hotel and the new Park Hotel Apartments.
“We feel that the new property will allow us to tap into a higher-end market that we were not able to cater to in the past, and our aim will be to operate the new apartments like a 5-star hotel,” said Lee.
Park Hotel Apartments offers short and long staying guests a warm and stylish ‘home-away-from-home’ experience with a comprehensive range of business support and recreational facilities.
The facilities include 84 fully-serviced apartments ranging from studios, to 1- and 2-bedroom apartments.
All apartments feature spacious living and dining areas, fully-equipped kitchens and utility areas, home entertainment systems and high speed broadband internet access. 24-hour guest service and security is available and provides a convenient and secure living environment.
The property also features a business centre, complete with a private meeting room equipped with audio visual equipment, teleconferencing facilities and internet access.
Both business and leisure guests can enjoy a host of recreational services on offer which include an outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi as well as a fully-equipped gymnasium.
“We are very excited to welcome Park Hotel Apartments as a new addition to the Wafi Hotels portfolio and we are now able to cater more effectively to all tourists and corporate clients no matter what their budget and accommodation requirements,” Lee added.-TradeArabia News Service
