Dubai, March 27, 2012

Guests staying three nights or more at Banyan Tree and Angsana Hotels and Resorts from April through June will get more mileage during their visit with up to three complimentary inclusions as part of the group’s “Good Things Come in Three’s” promotion.

Guests booking a three-night stay will enjoy a complimentary dinner for two at a select on-property restaurant, a 60-minute spa treatment for one person and a tour or activity for two.

The limited period “Good Things Come in Three’s” campaign enables guests to explore the resort group’s signature experiences without incurring the extra expense, a statement from the hotel said.

The promotion is valid for bookings of a minimum of three nights at best available rates made from March 15 to 31 for stays from April 1 to June 30.

At the hotel, guests can enjoy a dining experience that showcases the best of local ingredients and a variety of cuisines. Those looking for a tropical escape can visit the newly opened flagship Angsana Laguna Phuket where the resort’s Bodega & Grill serves premium char-grilled steaks, roasted fish and seafood from a special wood-fired oven.

Bodega’s generous steaks are available in portions of up to 1.2 kgs. Presented on large cast iron skillets resting on wooden platters, they can be enjoyed individually or family style. The restaurant also specialises in authentic homemade pastas, risottos and paellas, the statement said.

For those who prefer an urban getaway, Banyan Tree Macau’s signature restaurant Belon which is designed to evoke an aquatic environment presents classic European grill items with premium seafood prepared with an Asian twist. Belon’s menu features smoked tuna, sous vide pigeon and roasted Kurobuta pork belly with garlic and coconut emulsion.

Guests can also explore the award-winning spas at Banyan Tree and Angsana which are renowned for their treatments that fuse traditional Asian therapies with a holistic focus on spiritual, mental and physical harmony.

Signature innovations include the ‘tropical rainmist’ and ‘royal banyan’ treatments at Banyan Tree Spa and Angsana Spa’s ‘duet treatment’ and ‘Angsana massage’, it said.

Guests can immerse themselves in the destination on a deeper level with a bespoke tour or activity, the statement said. Those staying at Banyan Tree Phuket can embark on a tuk tuk (motorised rickshaw) to tour Thai temple Wat Phra Nang Sang, the oldest temple on the island built more than 500 years ago.

Points of interest include murals of the Lord Buddha’s life, pictures of important historical events, numerous tin Buddha statues, Chinese deities/gods and goddesses, statues of heroines Lady Chan and Lady Mook, a large reclining Buddha and a 50-year-old mummy of a former monk of the temple.

Guests at Angsana Balaclava can visit the picturesque seaside village of Grand Baie, a 15-minute drive from the resort, to soak in the charm of quaint sailing boats swaying on the ocean’s turquoise waters. Cosy restaurants and lively bars complete a postcard perfect day in Grand Baie, it said. – TradeArabia News Service
