Gulf carriers are hiring pilots from Indian airlines in a big way, according to an Indian press report.

Gulf airlines, which are expand their fleets at a rapid pace, are offering almost double the salary that pilots get in India, said the Times of India report.

Air India has seen almost 25 resignations in past four months with majority of them going to Gulf carriers, the report pointed out. The Gulf carriers include Emirates and Etihad.
