Emirates to boost Bahrain daily flights

Manama, July 1, 2014

Dubai's national carrier Emirates will start a fourth daily flight from Bahrain to Dubai from December 1 as part of a boost to flight frequencies throughout the Middle East.

Bahrain, Doha, Muscat and Kuwait will all receive an extra daily flight - bolting 28 flights a week onto the airline's regional offering, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

Under the changes, Bahrain will go from three to four daily services to Dubai, Doha increases from six to seven, Muscat from two to three and Kuwait jumps from five to six daily flights.

"This is a significant enhancement of our services in the region, giving our customers more choice and convenience," said Emirates' manager in Bahrain Reem Al Marzooqi.

Apart from Bahrain, Doha, Muscat and Kuwait, the airline's 276 weekly departures from Dubai to destinations in the airline's Gulf, Middle East and Iran region also cover Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon and Yemen.-TradeArabia News Service
