Rosewood Abu Dhabi, a luxury hotel in Abu Dhabi, UAE, has become first UAE hotel to receive the Welcome Chinese Gold Certification from the China Tourism Academy (CTA).

The certification attests the hotel’s compliance to the highest standard of hotel requirements defined by the CTA. To cater to growing demand from Chinese travellers, Rosewood Abu Dhabi has also unveiled plans to open a Chinese restaurant at the property in 2015.

Welcome Chinese is an innovative standard of services specifically crafted to make Chinese travellers feel at home at hotel properties around the world. To qualify for a Gold certification, a property must provide dedicated Mandarin-speaking staff, broadcast Chinese channels, offer a traditional Chinese breakfast and tea-making facilities, as well as a ‘Welcome Chinese’ kit in every room, the hotel said.
