UAE emirate Ajman has witnessed a 46 per cent increase in the number of visitors during the first half of 2014 as compared to the same period last year.

“The number of hotel establishments’ guests reached 417,000 during the first six months of 2014, compared to 285,000 guests during the same period in 2013,” said Khulood Khaled Al Nuaimi, Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) director of tourism development and marketing.

The number of hotel guests in the first half of 2014 reached 272,000, compared to 150,000 guests during the same period of 2013, while the number of hotel apartments’ guests increased by 10,000 to reach 145,000 guests in the first half of 2014, against 135,000 in the first half of 2013, she said. – TradeArabia News Service
